**Please be aware that for the month of November and December we will not be allowing camp fires due to risk to the crop. If no camp fire would be a disappointment (and we wouldn't blame you for being disappointed given the camp fire is the main activity!), you are best to book for outside this period. Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Mobile phone service and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! Completely. We suggest downloading (before leaving home) your Spotify faves and Maps for this area then you can't go wrong. *Please feel free to book anyone in your possie that is under 18 as a child.

Here at Radcliff, we have a lovely bush block with level, green open spaces, close to the town of Echuca, and just next to the Campaspe River. It's a convenient and comfortable base camp location to explore this beautiful region. You'll be only 400 meters walking distance to the town centre and 50 meters from the cycling/walking tracks. Power and town water is available. There is a fire pit, with seating. And we are dog-friendly! We do ask however that all guests be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, and kindly take all waste when you go. Please enjoy your stay.

This is a very large area in an open paddock with good access for caravans and large vehicles. You may well be the only people here though there’s is room for 10 vans. There is a view of the Broken Creek which is close to the property & easily accessible by a short walk. We’re are a 10 minute drive to Waaia with an excellent pub and the small town of Nathalia which has a supermarket, hotels, fuel, post office, bakery, gift & clothing stores & other businesses. Whilst there are other facilities on the property, this option is for guests who are self-contained only. Dogs on leash welcome. Botanical rare flora and fauna are found on these Sandhills. We have ancient sandalwood trees, remnant Murray Pines, huge eucalyptus trees and myrtle bushes. This country is of The Wolithica clan of the Yorta Yorta nation and is steeped in cultural history. Scar trees, maddens and more. Echidna and wallabies, eagles and sand ridge birds abound.We ask that you leave only your footprints and to know that if you don’t bring it with you it’s not here.The towns of Echuca and Gunbower are not far away And provide culinary delights, paddle steamer rides and lots of activities for visitors. If you want you can just chillax and rewild your senses right here on the lagoon or you can go find adventure close by. Great property. Tim was a good host with good communication. We camped at camp spot #5 which didn't have easy or close river access, which was dissapointing as it wasnt what was pictured in photos. Id suggested to speak with Tim specifically about what water access the specific sites have if you were too book. Would stay again though, in a spot with river access.

Private site with direct river access for fishing/kayaking. Best suited to tents or rooftops but we were able to get our 13 foot off road caravan in and out with no problems.

Carmel was welcoming and friendly and the campsite was lovely, quiet and secluded. The spaces were nice and big with shelters and fire pits, and the camp kitchen was perfect - it meant we didn't need to unpack a thing! The showers and toilets were clean and big. It was lovely to sit and watch the birds we fed with the birdseed left for campers to put out, and we loved the bench looking over to the wetlands! Thanks for a great spot Carmel.

This is a really great little.spot. Very peacefull. Only 2 mins to town in the car. Watch the Cockatoos love to chew tgings like fishing rods lol. I would definatley return again.

We stayed at Window to the Wetlands for two nights to explore Echuca which was a 30min drive away. The facilities were excellent, very clean, campground was watered and green, and individual sites were spaced far enough apart to not feel crowded. The shelters at each camp ground and rubber floor meant that set up was easy and you could easily stay longer. Each site had potable water and were very quiet. Carmel is a wonderful host, responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here.

Great camp was huge for the two of us and our dog Leo, we arrived in 38 degree heat, having the river was a life saver. We went to the swimming section lots of times and Leo our dog loved it. We drove over purely because it was so hot. Otherwise a nice 8/10 min walk from camp. Added bonus of having fire wood already at the pit and a trash can and bin bag for rubbish. Very secluded didn’t hear or see any other campers. Would definitely stay again. ⭐️

The campsite is in a great spot, you are close to Port of Echuca ( walk or ride a bike) 500m. Plenty of room on site with great lawn area and seating around fire pit. Power & water on a bush block….Fantastic . Quiet spot . Will be back

We loved our overnight stay here. Nice grassed area with plenty of space. The individual shelters are a great idea. Lots of thoughtful touches like games for children etc. Appreciated Carmel’s excellent communication and the friendly greeting on arrival. We’ll happily stay again if we’re passing through.

We stayed at River Sanbar 2 for 1 night on Boxing Day and were impressed with the quality of the campsite. The river access was perfect for fishing with two young kids and they caught half a dozen fish between them. Tim was very helpful and generous with his time. Highly recommended.

This camp is one of the nicest we've seen,with all the amenities you would expect from a top caravan park only in a much more private setting, lush green grass sites even an enclosed private camp where you can let your pet roam free all day, Noel was a pleasure to deal with giving plenty of information on local attractions and things to do.
