Eagle Creek campground is about as remote as it gets, but it is close to Gardiner and the Yellowstone River. Rafting, fishing, and drinking some brews by the fire, are all activities embraced by campers who frequent these sites!

The description says it's "remote as it gets." True, you won't see any lights or houses around here, but you're a quick few miles up a mountain road from Gardiner--easy access to the town and the park entrance.
