Moose Lake Campground
Description
Smack dab in the middle of the Chippewa National Forest, you’ll find Bowstring State Forest. Just outside of Bowstring, you’ll find the charming Moose Lake Campground. This primitive campground is an excellent choice if you’re craving something low key, with no frills. The best way to see the area is on the trails, and there’s a solid chance you’ll be able to get up close and personal with some Minnesotan wildlife. But, if water is more your jam, you’ll also be a stone’s throw away from Moose Lake and the boat launch. The walleye and muskie fishing is fantastic out here, so cast your line to see if you can catch your next meal.
