Came here with several dogs in tow. Back field was perfect. Laura was super kind and hospitable. Gave us cut logs, fresh water to refill, and let us use the hose to wash our dishes. Loved chatting with her.
Plenty of space for us to spread out, hang clothes to dry, for dog to wander around and play with Laura’s dog, and a nice mix of sun and shade. Also a nice perk that Laura put a very good fire pit (“pit” isn’t the right word exactly; fire is contained in the metal container) to help us smoke out the mosquitos and dry clothes in the evening. Forest completely blocks view of the road, so if you’ve a dog who’s distracted by cars, that is awesome. Perfectly clean porta potty behind Laura’s house is a nice touch as well. I loved that we could walk on the quiet gravel road at the end of the block in the evenings and on the Ice Age trail during the day; my husband loved the off-roading. This area is also fantastic for gravel biking, and the many fishing access points make for perfect swimming holes!
Laura is a fantastic host. Super friendly and very communicative. Loved getting to know about the old house and the property. Loads of space to camp. Will definitely stay again!!
