Relatives' Land is an opportunity for Delphine, who currently owns the property and all of us visiting, to enjoy the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and learn about the amazing bio-diversity of the area. On the land you will find some flat, prairie land that are used for gardening and chicken raising. There is also an old orchard with 15 plus apple and pear trees. Campers are welcome to harvest apples and pears in the fall when they are in season! Half of the land, 2.5 acres is a forest of pine and alder trees which hosts incredible wild life: a family of fox, Northwest bats, Northern Pygmy owls, Spotted owls, Northern flickers, Pileated woodpeckers, red ants, deer, elk, rabbits, snakes, mice and million more insects and birds. The land also has an incredible variety of mushrooms, mostly non-edible though, and ferns and mosses. All the animals on the land are our "Relatives". This is really their land!

Raw land with prairie and forest, 2 miles up the Columbia River, off highway 4. Campsite is a tree tent which sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. You will need your own sleeping gear but we have some mats available.
There is a hammock underneath the tree tent which sleeps another 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children but is not sheltered from the outside. In the summer, sleeping outside on the hammock is my favorite!
The camp site has a picnic table, an out-house with composting toilet (no need to worry about it; we take care of it!), a fire pit and supplies for starting a fire and some basic cooking utensils.
Delphine stays in the tinny house on the property which is still in construction. To the South of Relatives' Land is our neighbor Kevin. Him and his family own the property to the West of us as well. On the East side of the property is our neighbor Calvin. He is currently building a house on his property. To the North of us is John's property but it is not visible since it is on the other side of the forest.
Warring: There is very poor cellular reception on the land. With Verizon, I can text and receive texts, but I cannot take or make calls or surf the internet. However, there is internet access available!
