Eucalyptus bell tent at Thornbush Glamping offers a great way to experience an under-canvas holiday in Pembrokeshire—without any of the hard work. This is a bell tent that’s not only been put up for you but has also been beautifully furnished and well equipped for your stay. You can enjoy life outdoors with campfires and lovely rural scenery but you’ll also have the comfort of sleeping in a proper bed. And it’s one that’s in a lovely spot between the handy hub of Haverfordwest and the beautiful beaches of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Thornbush Glamping is a small off-grid site based on a farm with just a couple of bell tents and a couple of pitches for people who want to pitch their own. But it’s in a big field so everyone has plenty of space. There’s also shared access to well-kept compost loos, hot water showers and a campers’ kitchen, all built in rustic little cabins that have made good use of reclaimed materials from around the farm. The bell tents, too, have some upcycled furniture. Here, it’s more homely with furniture matched to colourful bedding, bunting and bits and bobs that might give you inspiration for your bedroom at home. There’s practical stuff too: torches, tea and coffee-making kit, pots, pans, and a camping gas stove for use outside of your tent if you don’t fancy cooking on the campfire.
Of course, you might not fancy cooking at all and, in that case, despite the rural setting, there are options not too far away. Ye Olde Inn is the closest place—a mile or so down the road, but there’s plenty more in Haverfordwest, the surrounding countryside and over on the coast. It’s most likely the coast that you’ve come for—and who could blame you? The campsite is just five miles inland from Nolton Haven, a beach that’s in the middle of the beautiful St Bride’s Bay. Little Haven, Broad Haven, Newgale, and Solva are others you might want to explore, all within 10 miles. St David's is just a little over that.
Thornbush Glamping is located in the heart of the Pembrokeshire countyside, a stones throw away from it's beautiful coastline. Just outside the village of Camrose, we are in the ideal spot to go off and explore stunning beaches and local attractions. Our bright, quirkily designed bell tent is the perfect space to relax, unwind and enjoy a glam camping experience. Equipped with a rustic kitchen, eco-friendly compost toilet and wooden shower shared with one other tent, our campsite has everything!
