Simple name. Simple campsite. Amazing place to be. There’s nothing to distract you from the wild natural beauty of the Pembrokeshire National Park at this back-to-basics campsite in the very west of Wales. The grassy pitches at this view-tastic spot are enhanced by the sea, the sunsets, and the starry nights. It's got access to all the good stuff—the Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes right by the site and the closest beach is a five-minute walk away—and there's masses of open space. However you spend your days, just make sure you’re back in time for a campfire as the sun goes down, setting behind St David’s Head just across the water.
Camping at Clifftops is pretty relaxed. There are no set pitches so, whether you arrive on foot, via the coastal path, by car, or in a campervan, you can pick your spot in the field. It’s all off grid and facilities, as you might expect for a pop-up campsite on a farm, are pretty basic. There are portable toilets, a single shower, and a couple of sinks shared between all campers—but the place is clean and tidy. And you can play your part in that too. “Leave no trace” is the motto here and campers are asked to take away their rubbish and recycling.
It’s a small price to pay for a spot in a location as good as this. In addition to unspoilt Druidston Beach, you're on a coastline with plenty more. Two miles to the south is Broad Haven and three miles to the north is Newgale. Both are lifeguarded (Druidston is not) and good for surfing with surf and kayak hire available. And all the varied highlights of the Pembrokeshire coast are within reach, with a car. You can visit the UK’s smallest city, St David’s, set out on a boat trip to see the puffins on Skomer Island and enjoy the thrills and spills of Oakwood Theme Park, all within half an hour’s drive of here.
The site includes 4 portal loos, a shower and 2 washing basins. Recycling is available though we would prefer you to take home what you bring
