We are a veteran family working to build our dream homestead on this land. In the meantime, we want to share the land with you. Our property features rolling hills, with a campsite at the top, an abundance of berries in the spring, a composting toilet, and off grid shower. The land offers privacy and acres of untouched nature, but is less than 10 minutes from town. Fairystone State Park and other swimming holes on Philpott Lake are about 20 minutes away and access to the Smith River is 5 minutes away. Come enjoy this peaceful piece of nature.This campsite is at the very top of the hill. It is a cleared, slightly sloped area. The bathroom and shower is located at the area farthest from the road, right behind the tree line. There is rainwater available in the IBC tote, but it is not drinkable.

Tent

Serene spot on the hill. You camp along the driveway. The composting toilet was private and had what you need. Some road noise and the railroad comes up the hillside, but I heard only one train. The firepit was nice. The flattest tent sites were right by the driveway. Overall nice spot if you are visiting Fairystone but want a more affordable stay.
