Within a 60-minute drive from the Front Royal.

I have 6 wooded acres right in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The property is about a mile from the Shenandoah River, and a short drive from lots of wineries and breweries. I have 2 sites with fire pits and access to fresh water and plenty of firewood. Plenty of deer and turkey for the animal lovers too!Choose the lower or upper site. Each is a very short walk from the parking spot, and completely private. We also offer seasoned firewood so you don’t have to find your own and tiki torches for that “firelight” effect. Lower site has a small spring creek nearby! Rivers, waterfalls, vineyards nearby!

Josh was nice and helped walk us to the camp site when we overlooked it driving in. Site is very close the a nice fall and river.

Overall we had a great experience. Unfortunately, we could see their house and the road making it less private than we expected by the pictures.

We had a good last minute camping trip. This was a pretty quiet spot close to the Appalachian Trail and that's what we were looking for. Josh was a very responsive host, which was great. Pretty spot between a house and a small road, so some traffic sounds occasionally but not bad. One drawback was that it was very rocky and difficult to find a good flat space for our tent. The listing said bathroom available and there was indeed a tent with a camp toilet bucket, which was fine for us, but it could be helpful for others to know exactly what type of camp toilet there is.
