Shacks at Kardella is a 47-acre lifestyle farm close to the beach at Indented Head on the Bellarine Peninsula. Our property has cows, goats, miniature horses and plenty of native birdlife. Walking distance to the beach and general store/post office which sells coffee, beer, wine and other essentials. The campsite is 500 metres from the Indented Head boat ramp. Come and enjoy our peaceful slice of the thriving Bellarine Peninsula! Campsites have no amenities so campers need to BYO everything (including drinking water and camping toilet) and leave no trace. Dog friendly. We offer general camping a garden glamping bell tent.

Grass, wide open spaces Bliss!!!!

What a beautiful peaceful stay we had at Damian’s property. Damian met us on arrival and gave us all the information we needed for our stay including information on the surrounding towns and provided us with a fire pit. The Paddock is spacious and grassy, our Border Collie loved running freely during our stay. A short stroll through a couple of gates in the property and you are on a beautiful Bush trail on your way to the Bay side Beach. We will definitely be back for another stay soon.

Great Paddock Stay

Arrived following Damien’s detailed instructions don’t follow Google maps, do what Damien suggests. We wet up the back to ourselves for a week other than one other couple over the weekend. Dogs all socialised which was terrific and plenty of room for them to run around. Keep on the mowed though due to snakes. Damien brought us a fire pit which was terrific. The bottom paddock was much busier and noisier as you are all together, the back paddock you’re more spaced. It literally is a paddock, no views but there is a track with a gorgeous 500m walk down to the ocean. Fantastic spot for walking or making the most of water activities. Very social if you’ve got dogs and want to chat with the locals in the afternoon. Damien is a lovely chap and it was great to catch up with him again before we left. Most accommodating and will help out with water if needed.
