This is a lovely and safe spot.
We saw a kangaroo hoping by in the morning.
It is really close from down Town so you can grad groceries or dinner at the pub and come back for marshmallows over the fire. But you can also have a fire there.
Our host was very kind.
We had a great weekend at Fowkes Family Farm. The campsite was spacious for the 5 families in our crew. There was cool farmland and forest to explore nearby and we all loved swimming in the spring-fed dam! Our neighbours on the site below were a little loud for us on our first night but our host was super attentive and really wanted to sort it out for us. In hindsight we just should have gone down to talk to them (the noisy campers 😂) because they were very lovely and I’m sure they would have just kept it down for us.
I’ll definitely be back there. Next time I’ll try the site below which was very picturesque.
We had a great stay at Foukes Family Farm, easy access to site. Good central location. Pleasant & quiet environment. Host Tamara was very welcoming & would definitely stay here again to explore the area more.
A great spot, nice and private, plenty of room and close enough to town to walk to the pub.
Tamara was lovely and helpful, we couldn't fault this site.
We were there at the perfect time for some blackberry picking & an evening fire.
We had a wonderful stay, the place was just as described. We booked both sites & had the whole camping area to ourselves.
Tamara the host was lovely to communicate with for the weekend trip.
Thanks for having us, we'll definitely be back in the future!
