Off Grid but Close to Town
I thoroughly enjoyed camping in Fearn's off-grid cabin the past few days. It was a beautiful spot of land, with sounds of rushing water and beautiful robins and it gets great sunlight. I had a really lovely solo retreat, just reading on the front porch and sipping tea, walking around in the woods and doing some yoga. Delightful!

Great Solo Retreat
I very much enjoyed my stay at Fearn's cabin. beautiful views of surrounding mountains, and the mountain streams can be easily heard and are soothing. The outside temperature was high 30s-low 40s, windy and I was warm throughout, the two-burner cookstove was adequate for my needs. Fearn was available & responsive for questions and brought me kindling to make sure I had some for a campfire. The grounds are lovely. It was perfect for my solo escape from family for a creative weekend, cut short by a major snowstorm, and my personal decision to head home early; I look forward to returning.
