Water Canyon Campground is 5 Acres just a 1/4 mile from the iconic water canyon trailhead! We offer the best campsites for you to bring friends and family to camp in raw nature!
This campsite offers stunning views and a well-maintained environment that campers find both serene and private. Many guests highlight its proximity to trailheads, making it ideal for those looking to explore nearby natural attractions. The amenities, such as clean porta-potties, grills, and picnic areas, receive consistent praise. However, some reviews suggest that the road leading to the campsite can be narrow and difficult for larger vehicles.
We loved tent camping at water canyon. We were in site 4 which had a beautiful view. The spots were a little smaller than I expected (spot 1 is the most private and biggest). The hosts were super hospitable and checked in on us, the site and portapotty were immaculate. Their building restrooms and showers which will be a nice edition. We drove down to the hike and it was as beautiful as the pictures. I would definitely come back here again.
The campsite was beautiful, however needed some attention. We were there for 3 nights and the porta potty was out of toilet paper and full the entire stay. The road getting to the campsite was a little tough and was hard to get our minivan to each day. If it were wet we wouldnt be able to get to the site. Each site is right on top of each other and there is little privacy. Also, be aware that there is no water available at the campsite.
This was the perfect spot for our group! We had so much fun and the stars were incredible.
The hosts were very accommodating and kind. Definitely recommend!
The campground was very nice. We were the only campers so can't comment on privacy, but the scenery was beautiful. Little solar lights helped to navigate to the toilet at night. The only drawback would be that the crushed lava rock was pretty sharp on our dog's paws. I got the need for it though, to combat the red sand everywhere.
Close to the Squirrel trail but needed to drive to the waterfall trail. Would not recommend if the weather looks rainy, the roads turn to sludge.
We would still love to go again. Kids had a great adventure.
