We were drawn to the little valley in the Texas Hill Country because of its biodiversity and abundant wildlife. We currently manage the land specifically for bird and wildlife. The creeks and ponds, surrounded by large pecan, oak and elm trees provides food and cover for all kinds of animals and birds.  We are blessed to be caretakers of this peaceful sanctuary and to be able to share it with other like-minded people.

My kind of camping
The tent was lovely, LOVED having a clean flushing toilet, shower, outdoor mini kitchen and comfy bed!! The property is more beautiful than I expected with mix of trees and prairie grasses. There were wide trails to explore and of course a campfire. Overall a very nice ”camping-lite” experience for us and our young kids.

Great getaway
Great place to stay. The outdoor shower was the best part! No light pollution, so the night sky is FULL of stars. The tent was awesome too, but we took full advantage of the many trees and threw up our hammocks! Great place to go if you need some privacy and time away from the city and people.

Relaxing getaway
Had the most relaxing weekend I’ve had in a long time! Beautiful site. Graham was very helpful and responsive when I had questions. Outdoor shower was amazing. I would love to come back, but maybe not in the peak of the summer.

This campsite is great!
I highly recommend booking for a small group of people to get out for a weekend. My friends and I felt very comfortable with our stay. There was plenty of wildlife to see at a safe distance. Most of all we had fun exploring the ranch and spending the nights star gazing.

Helpful Host, Comfy Bed
Our host was amazing and understand life gets busy. The trip did start off rocky. We pull up late afternoon and the gate was locked but we were able to reach our host and he gave us the code. He let us know he would be sending out someone to clean. A nice lady showed up right after us and cleaned the site. Unfortunately, the soap and propane were not restocked and the site was not mowed. Graham did show up the next day and mowed some paths for us and was able to exchange the propane. We were hoping we would be alone but the host was at the house next to the tent for the entire day. The outdoor shower was amazing but uncomfortable with others around. When you book be sure to communicate with your host the day of and ask where the big pond is for fishing.
