Enjoy a country getaway on private 8 acre lake on 45 acres. A perfect escape from the city with gorgeous sunset views, Texas wildlife and a relaxing comfortable lake house with many amenities. Lake is full of Blue gill, bass, crappie, catfish. Since it's private lake there is no need for fishing license. Guest are welcome to explore most of acreage, pet donkeys, watch wildlife. We have fishing poles, Jon boats, motorized barge available for rent. If needed guests can pitch tents. There is fire pit, gas grill, diving board (when lake is full, as of May water is to low to dive). No food is provided you must bring your own, don't forget your coffee, there is a coffee pot but not coffee. Site is 10 minutes from Stephenville, 3 miles from County Store in Huckabay. Linens, towels provided. Board games, Wii, ping-pong table, outdoor games, trampoline on site. Land owners located across lake and may be on lake or available as needed. GPS should get you here. You will go past Little Off Ranch house, follow road to lake house. Keys will be left out on porch on arrival day. No Wi-Fi or television service at this time. TV is available to use for Wii or DVD/VHS. Large collection of movies available. Pets are welcome as long as they don’t damage home, chase cows, kill chickens or are dangerous to others. There is an extra fee for pets. If children are in, on or near water they should have life jackets on. There are various life jackets and floats available. Use best judgment, safety measures and laws required in TX. NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS. Fishing Guidelines per visit: Bass 10”-14” keep, limit 10, Crappie limit 10, Catfish are catch and release for now, Bluegill (I call them perch) limit 10. Lake is full of Blue gill, bass, crappie, catfish. Guest are welcome to explore most of acreage, pet donkeys, watch wildlife. We have fishing poles set up in screened in porch. Jon boats, motorized barge available for rent. If needed guests can pitch tents. There is 1 full size bed in bedroom 1, 1 queen size bed in bedroom 2, a full blowup mattress and a twin sized blowup mattress. There is fire pit, gas grill, diving board (when lake is full-as of June not deep enough yet for diving). Lawn chairs, outdoor furniture, baby swing on back deck. No food stocked, you’ll have to bring it. 10 minutes from Stephenville. 3 miles from County Store. Linens, towels, toilet paper provided. No other toiletries. Board games, Wii, ping-pong table, outdoor games, trampoline on site. Host located across lake, may be on lake and available as needed. Wi-Fi available, television service. TV is available to use for Wii or DVD/VHS. Large collection of movies available mostly kid movies. Little Off Lake House

We had a great weekend at the lake house! It was so relaxing and exactly what we needed. We loved how close it was to DFW and to Stephenville. Nothing beats the bonfires at night, roasting smores with the kiddos, and looking at the stars.

Little Off Lake House

We had a great time at the Little Off Lake House. So quiet and relaxing and lots of fun fishing. In the evenings we saw clear skies, lots of stars, some wildlife and made smores over the outside fire pit. We would love to come back. Hosts were great and cabin stocked very well.

Extremely peaceful and relaxing. The kids stayed busy between fishing and swimming, as well as exploring outside. The cabin was very well kept. The host was very friendly and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be back in the future!

Little Off Lake House

We had such an amazing time! Lindel, thank you for the bonus tour of your land and animals. I hope we left the site better than how we found it. Yall have an amazing location and it is well set up for hip campers of all ages! The lake is the most perfect swimming and fishing spot I have ever visited. There was pretty much everything already at the house that we needed to have an amazing and relaxing vacation. Thanks for having us.
