Once a cotton farm this land was purchased to become a working flower farm and respite opportunity for individuals to come enjoy the land as it was created. It is filled with wildlife and wildflowers. There are over 30 acres to sit and just listen to the stillness and gaze at the stars. Take in the beautiful sunsets and just reset, relax and recharge your bodies. There is no electricity or water but we make sure that we offer non potable water and a fire ring for your visit.
Pitch your tent at a designated location with a fire ring, firewood and a picnic table. 100% complete privacy. Gaze at the stars all night. Amie's campground is a peaceful retreat for those seeking solitude and a starry night sky. Campers appreciate the clear directions and convenient location near the highway, making it a great stop for travelers. The site offers thoughtful amenities like a hammock, picnic tables, and a solar shower. However, some guests have noted that the site can be overgrown and hard to find, so be prepared for a more rustic experience.
Provided firewood and water to put out. Perfect stop for the night. When she says the entrance is on the corner between the two roads, it’s literally on the 90 degree angle.
Third time camping on Amie’s land. Was as peaceful as always with a sky filled with stars. If you like peace and quiet and dark skies when the moon is just a sliver look no further. Amie was as gracious and responsive as always, particularly considering we had to cancel last two scheduled stays due to weather and unexpected RV breakdown, we were looking forward to our return. A little bit off the highway, but directions are straightforward and well worth the extra few minutes so find the solitude you will experience.
Amazing time out here. Very private and the tent was set up perfectly including a propane heater at night. Me and my girlfriend felt so at peace here. The stars are also incredible with very little light pollution. 10/10 would recommend.
I had a wonderful night under the stars and moon. Super convenient to the highway for a very peaceful overnight stay in a cozy hammock graciously provided by Amie. I’m looking forward to stopping by again.
