If you are inclined to a peaceful country setting, away from the noise and congestion of a large RV park and the bustle of the city, this is the place for you! When you are ready for the city or the beaches of South Padre Island or perhaps you want to witness Space X launching a Starship, we are less than three miles from Interstate 2 (US Route 83) which will take you there. You will also find at this same interstate junction, the Rio Grand Valley Livestock Show grounds, which host rodeos (since the 1930's), concerts and Fairs. We offer monthly rates of $450, and weekly rates of $150. Let us let you in on a little secret, we are located at a latitude approximate to North Miami, where you will find very pleasant winter temperatures and no one down here owns a snow shovel! Make us your winter get away, nestled between gently grazing cows on one side and goats on the other, come for a few weeks or lock-in a lot as a regular winter Texan. When you come here to Mercedes, Texas, located in the heart of the Rio Grand Valley, you will experience not only the warmth of many sunny days, but you will find, perhaps to your surprise, the warmth and friendliness of the Mexican-American people and culture all amidst, a rural setting, modern health facilities, shopping centers, concert events and various entertainment.
