My son had cancer which motivated us to find a perfect place to live well and grow our own food. We have a five-acre grove of various fruits. A greenhouse and gardens. Appx 100 chickens, goats, sheep, llamas, ducks and vicious geese. Seasonal fruits and vegetables available. Eggs most days. Other specialty products depending on my time and interest. Learn more about this land: We have an island on a canoe/Kayak Creek. Our working farm with goats, sheep, chickens, geese and more is separated by a fence. The appx 8 acre bluff over a diving rock into the Creek. Nature provides groundhogs, deer, birds of prey and many others. Bass and trout laugh and feel safe from me.  If you hike you’ll love this. We rappel down the bluff with a simple rope. The island could support volleyball or similar activities if so inclined. We have an island on a canoe/Kayak Creek. The whole family loved this place. My daughter could barely part from the animals, she may have taken some naps with the goats. We camped in the alcove by the spring and it was shady and beautiful. We hiked to the creek with the pups and got everyone a good morning workout. A storm came through and we were able to escape to town near by and grab some Mexican food while it passed. All our gear and tent were safe and sound in the alcove by the spring we we returned. My daughter was begging to go back before we had even left the property. Our host was out of town, but super communicative and helpful. He even drew us some very fancy maps of the property to help us find the creek. We loved this place and are excited to return in summer when the grapes are ripe. Thanks so much!

Such a great camping spot and Bob was a great host! On my arrival, he drove me around the property to show me all the camping options. I chose the dreamy spring across from the pond to set up with a large stone fire pit and plenty of firewood provided & awesome hammock-hanging trees. Can’t wait to come back & camp all the other spots, also excited to hang on the island next time (which was too wet to camp on due to all the recent rains that came through!) Many thanks for a peaceful weekend!
