Sleep amongst a variety of wild and weird creature sculptures in a campsite like no other.
A secluded hilltop property on 5 acres of trees, an easy 20 minute drive to Nashville. We have great sunsets up here on the hill, a peaceful little dead-end road.
The campsite is at corner of our property, tucked just out of sight of our house a couple hundred feet away.
You can even get a painted wood cutout version of your favorite creatures from Brett!
(see extras and message us for availability)
Stay in our camper, a 1963 Shasta, remodeled by us.
We removed all of the old broken camper stuff and it is now a simple, colorful room inside, with a full size bed and some fun funky art from our collection.
Enjoy an old VHS movie on the little tv, or some classic cassettes in the tape recorder.Sleep amongst a variety of wild and weird creature sculptures in a campsite like no other. The accomodations are minimal but functional. There's electricity, lights and outlets for charging etc. There's a cooler, fan, a electric cooktop, electric teapot, and mini-fridge. Also some cookware and dishes, and press-pot for coffee. Cook up some dinner on the propane grill outside. There is no indoor plumbing, but a large water jug and bucket for washing up, as well as a container for drinking water (we will provide 2 gallons of fresh drinking water in a glass containter upon arrival but you will be on your own after that) Well-water is available at a spigot near the camper. An air conditioner is available to keep you cool, and a space heater to warm you up. There's a firepit just outside with plenty of places to sit. Firewood is available for sale (see extras).
The equally wild and weird outhouse and outdoor shower (with on demand hot water!) is just a few steps down hill in the trees. T.P. and soap included. You can buy supplies and food at a big-box store just a few minutes down the road. There are plenty of places to hike etc out this way, our favorites are Beaman Park, Bells Bend Park, and the Bi-Centennial Bicycle Trail in Ashland City.
Well-behaved pets are allowed but please keep them leashed. Be sure to give me a heads up to let me know what furry friends will be joining you :)
*** WINTER NOTE--- During the winter months, depending on the weather, the shower and outdoor spigot may not be available due to freezing temps. I will try to keep it available as long as possible. I will still provied jugs of water for drinking and washing up, the heater keeps things cozy in the camper, so no worries there. Feel free to check with us about the shower status.
