Sheepwash Road Campgrounds on Bruny Island offers a spacious and peaceful camping experience with plenty of greenery and space to spread out. The location is central for exploring the island, and the nearby bread fridge is a popular highlight for fresh sourdough lovers. While campers appreciate the serene setting, some mention the entrance gate being tight, particularly for larger caravans, and an abundance of mosquitos. The host, Karen, is noted for being friendly and providing helpful local tips.

Nice little spot but finding a really nice level spot was a bit challenging. Lots of grassy areas and also lots of buzzys still picking them off the gear. Nice and peaceful.

A beautiful, peaceful and luscious green site with plenty of spots to choose from. We enjoyed our time at Sheepwash Road Campgrounds. Our host, Karen, provided many helpful suggestions of places to visit whilst enjoying our stay on Bruny Island. Remember to bring along mozzie repellent. Have no hesitation in recommending this camp spot as it’s a little peace of paradise.

Camping here was an absolute dream!! Amazing open grassy paddock with loads of setup options to choose from, super quiet at night and a hop skip and a jump to the famous bread fridge. That's probably the only negative......we spent a lot of dough on dough....
