The property has over 8kms of river frontage and is used primarily to run livestock. Campers can enjoy fishing and swimming here, there are no crocs.
The Lions Den Hotel is across the River, where you can enjoy a meal and a drink. The property is a 25 minute drive to Cooktown and a 35 minute drive to Lakeland. Cooktown and Cape York Peninsula has a wealth of natural beauty, a rich and diverse culture and colourful pioneering history. There are no facilities here, campers must be self contained and leave no trace. There is a public toilet a short drive up the highway nearby the Annan Gorge bridge.
