Romantic
Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is romantic.
On almost 2 acres you will have a small barn with a loft and a queen mattress. There is a stove and wood to be burned. There is an outside shower, native plant gardens, a pergola with chiminea, an edible herb and vegetable garden and a fire pit. There is also a hammock under some huge Norway Spruce trees. Feel free to relax!

I teach yoga and have a super cool loft space. A class can usually be arranged during your stay. Regular classes are held Monday evenings at 5:30pm and 7:00pm and Friday mornings at 5:45am for the early birds.Welcome to my property! This place has been a labour of love. You will be staying in a small structure that was hand built with mortis and tenon joints whittled out of tools that were handed down, built just for the job, or refitted with hand made handles. The building is not insulated so the temperature inside is pretty much the temperature outside. There is a woodstove in the barn for chilly nights. Other features include a stone campfire pit (firewood and kindling starter is an additional $10 per bundle), open pergola, outdoor shower (seasonal), native pollinator garden, opportunity for on site yoga in an open air barn loft.
There is no running water in the building but the building does have full electricity. You will have access to an outdoor shower and potable drinking water from a hose. Port-a-john on site, a short walk away from the cabin, super clean, and serviced weekly.
Full size bed with protective mattress and pillow coverings provided. Must bring your own linens or sleeping bags.
A word on children. We love them. They are great. That said, there are a bunch of ways that the site and structure are NOT kid friendly: think sharp corners, irregular steps, pet doors, raw wood splinters, steep ladders, hot wood stoves, loft sleeping quarters, wired railings. There are probably Hipcamps that are better suited for children.
