Our property was founded in 1919 and has a huge array of history. Learn more about this land: We are a working farm nestled within the tree line here in Oregon. We have a private pond, gorgeous views and quiet days. My Wife Christina and I have worked very hard to get our property where it’s at today and hope to share it with those who appreciate it. Ask us about fresh produce for sale as well as eggs / duck eggs. There are eating tours with a generosity option to our tour guide $. We also sell local wines and have beer on tap for extra. Please check in no later than 6. If you’re interested we have hiking camp sites available a little further into our wilderness, just let us know if you’re interested. Be aware we have two dogs who are very friendly, their just barkers. We are a working farm nestled within the tree line here in Oregon. We have a private pond, gorgeous views and quiet days. Paradise
Steve and Christina (and Penny!) offer unmatched hospitality on their idyllic farm. Be prepared to feel you are part of the scene, whether that’s being offered morning coffee as though you are an old friend, shooing a piglet back from whence he came, or picking blackberries along the creek across the road. The kids (11 & 13) loved interacting with the animals (dogs included) and we fell asleep in our tent to the cricket and frog philharmonic. The farm is on a very quiet road that is great for running and the pond is perfect for cooling off with the ducks and the resident muskrat. Eggs, beautiful produce, and good local beer were on hand when needed. With a 15-min drive to town, Grateful Valley Farm is just far enough away to feel away from it all.

Peaceful and Beautiful
I thoroughly enjoyed tent camping on Steve's land! His mother and brother were there to greet us with huge smiles and gave us a tour of the property. Bathroom/shower were clean and well kept. The property itself was incredible. It was so quiet, peaceful and exactly what we needed to get away from the city for a bit. The farm animals were a definite plus. Steve was very friendly, courteous and welcoming. I would highly recommend and stay here again. Thank you Steve and family for the hospitality!

Steve is a great host. The area is not ideal for RVs but he helped us find a level and relatively private site for our 17 foot travel trailer. The bathroom was very clean and includes a shower that we didn’t need/use. We had hoped for a nice swimming spot but the pond seemed rather stagnant and not amenable for a dip. The beer keg was empty so we didn’t get to sample the local craft brew.

Fun Camping Experience!
We enjoyed tent camping here! It was a fun to see the animals on the farm, and they did not disturb our sleep. The hosts were kind enough to give us fresh food from the farm and we went to a nearby farm to pick blueberries as well. Overall a great stay!

We loved camping here. It's the world's best combination: quiet camping spot, private beach, a pond to swim in, a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen. It's like being in a ressort with all the amenities you need by yourself with the sounds of ducks, chicken, goats, pigs, frogs... giving a concert. If you want to visit paradise, go here! Our kids loved petting the dogs, bunnies and goats. They also got to find eggs and pick raspberries and potatoes and onions. It's the best hidden gem in the world!!
