**Only for those who are okay with a rough and rugged drive for an Alaskan style retreat only 25 miles from the Market Of Choice in Ashland, OR** Cedar Springs Village is ever improving and expanding as a gathering place and Natural Movement training facility/playground. Tended by host and MovNat Lvl2 certified fitness trainer. There are also family activities such as a toddler friendly bike pump track, small sandbox, tire swing, well used trails and roads to hike or mountain bike around the property. There is a growing communal outdoor kitchen with a standard four burner stovetop and oven. Immerse yourself in the wild beauty of the mountains. Pitch a tent in one of the numerous locations on this secluded and diverse 120 acres. Here you will be amongst a thick forest of cedar, pine and fir; oak groves, rolling hills, babbling creeks, spring-fed ponds, meadows and spectacular views of majestic Mt. Shasta. If you are a plant enthusiast, bird-watcher or nature lover, or even a rockhound, this area will be a dream come true. The terrain is hilly but old logging roads provide nice hiking paths along with hundreds of animal paths for the able bodied. Near the owners cabin and main camp area there is an outdoor kitchen, tapped spring to collect water, fire pit and a compost outhouse. It is important to note that there is no poison oak or poison ivy around the area. It is a wonderful place to really explore. Just 15.4 miles east of Ashland on highway 66 then 9 miles on a slow dirt road.  The drive is absolutely part of the experience, slow down and enjoy the views. As you drive up hwy 66 the views of the valley below are absolutely incredible, then you come to the dirt road. This is a very slow drive due to the condition of the road, it is part of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument and poorly maintained. **Important** The last section of road to get to this pristine and secluded forest location is a 9 mile dirt road with bumps, rocks, and a many washouts that bring you to a near stand still. 4 wheel drive is strongly recommended. Low clearance cars not recommended.Road to property is currently closed to wheeled traffic do to deep snow as of 3/19 **Only for those who are okay with a rough and rugged drive for an Alaskan style retreat only 25 miles from the Market Of Choice in Ashland, OR** Cedar Springs Village is ever improving and expanding as a gathering place and Natural Movement training facility/playground. Cedar Springs Village
Remote Camping
The road is most definitely a journey! Double-check your belongings in the car before trekking to his campsite to ensure nothing gets jostled too much around in your rig. Expect to go slow but it is quite enjoyable with views and nice rock formations along the way. My 2013 Subaru Outback made it, but I know what I am doing when driving in that kind of road condition. The main campsites he had available were pretty close to his house, but thankfully there was another option more secluded. The main area included a composting toilet, stove top, and spring water. He is still developing the area and I can expect in a short while he will have an awesome site to come back to! Vincent was very warm and welcoming. His family was also adorable including his dog! He was answering all my questions promptly! He even was eager to help clear out some fallen trees to reach a nice secluded 3rd camp spot on his property. The third campsite had some cool exploring above his property with some awesome meadows to journey to. A bit of bushwacking to get to the meadow, but I am sure Vincent would have known a better route if we asked him. The third spot was a dry camping spot, you had to go back to the main camp spot to fill up on water. Cell service is very spotty around the property but you can find some areas to get service. It was nice and quiet there and the view of Mount Shasta was really awesome!

Cedar Springs Village
Peaceful campsite
Vincent's campsite was so great! It's nicely tucked away and beautiful. Him and his family were so welcoming and nice to chat with! They had some trails on the property with gorgeous views of Mt. Shasta. It was a fun and bumpy ride into the site. Definitely need a sturdy car, but we had no trouble. Would definitely stop here again!

Cedar Springs Village
Takes camping to the next level
We had a wonderful camping experience at Cedar Springs Village. It is nestled about 9 miles into the wilderness and has beautiful meadows and breath taking views of Mount Shasta. The camp site had great amenities such as an outdoor stove top, bathroom, and fresh spring water from the mountain. It had everything we needed. We woke up to see chickens running around, and also a family of deer. The campsite gave us a nice and secluded feeling. The host, Vincent, is very friendly and accommodating. I admired that Vincent follows principles of living off of the land. I would definitely come back if I am ever in the area again. One piece of advice is that the road to get to Cedar Springs Village requires a car that can drive on gravel and very rocky/bumpy roads. I also suggest driving out here in the daytime only as some parts of the road have steep cliff-like edges and I feel it would be unsafe to drive it at night. Vincent left signs for us to follow to get to the campsite, which was very helpful! Just follow the signs and stay on the path and you'll be ok.
