Camp Black Rock
What an outstanding farm and homestead! So beautiful and peaceful. Such a relaxing short stay. Wish it could have been longer but had to keep moving. Clean and hot showers were a treat! Kitchen sink area came in very handy and even though I didn't get a chance to enjoy the fire pit, the communal area looked pleasant. Tom was a joy to talk to and a warm host. Didn't get to meet Susan as she was out of town but I'm positive she is great as well. I have not stopped talking to people about this place. Can not wait to return. ✌

From the moment we arrived at Camp Black Rock, we where made to feel extremely welcome, this campground exceeded our expectations and has left us longing to return in the future.

Camp Black Rock
We had a wonderful time at Camp Black Rock! Our girls camp trip was about to be cancelled due to the forest fires in Southern Oregon, when we stumbled across this gem of a destination as our Plan B. Wonderful hosts, exceptional hospitality and care. Directions were perfect, the property was welcoming, all the amenities (more than I could have even imagined or asked for), clean bathrooms, plenty of privacy. They have set the bar high for Hip Camp! Will every Hip Camp provide firewood, and showers, and comfy chairs around the campfire, and extra hammocks, and sweet painted rocks to take home, AND jello-shots?! Thanks Susan and Tom, we had so much fun!

Camp Black Rock
Went to Camp Black Rock for a girls weekend when one of us found Hip Camp after we were smoked out of our original destination, and the environment and other campers and host and hostess truly saved our weekend! We had such a great time! Hammocks, compostable toilets, even Jell-O shots made for all the campers by our hostess! And a tour of some pretty amazing rabbits. Such a wonderful time! Thank you for opening up your grounds to us!

Camp Black Rock
After our first campground was smoked out by wildfires, my friends and I stumbled upon Camp Black Rock. Susan and her husband were more than willing to accommodate our ladies camping weekend at the last minute. We had our pick of locations all over the property to set up camp. She provided the guided tour upon arrival and made us feel right at home. We felt very safe on the property and although there were a few others staying, it never felt intrusive. We all had our own camping areas and came together around the camp fire at night. The compostable toilets were cleaned daily, there were chairs, blankets, and pillows around the fire, and even small things were provided such as dish soap, towels, and Susan's phone if needed for wifi. The hammocks were heaven and we passed an entire afternoon lounging around. I would highly recommend Susan's place and recommend heading into Falls City to check out the beautiful waterfall while you're there.

Camp Black Rock
Fantastic place. Lots of room to camp. Beautiful farm setting. Very thoughtful amenities such as hot showers, dishwashing station, compost toilets, yard games and hammocks make a basic camp experience seem luxurious. Tom and Susan are extremely accommodating hosts and certainly made our first hipcamp stay a positive and relaxing experience. Fabulous base camp location for travelers and cyclists as Black Rock bike trails are nearby. Perfect spot for families and group gatherings/events. Highly recommend.
