Learn more about this land: One mile from I-5, you may pitch your tent or park your van near some fir trees at the edge of a small meadow bordering Elk Creek. Feel the restful flow of water bringing tranquility.  Follow hiking trails along the creek, through groves of trees, or play in the singing creek. There is another hiking trail to another portion of the creek to the right of the road that passes by the barn. A sign on an oak tree indicates the edge of the large mowed meadow that will take you to another sign for the trail to the creek. When entering the property at the county road, you’ll see a big Century Farm sign on the left at the driveway entrance. Continue past a brown machine shed followed by two apple trees on your left. Just beyond the apple trees is a sign on a big fir tree that points to where the campsite parking is located. Shaped like an arrow it points to the mowed path to the creek and campsite which you may drive down to arrive at the campsite. Uphill from the campsite is a trail going through a small copse of trees that leads up to the red barn. On the left at the entrance to the barn is a bathroom complete with sink and shower. Towels are not provided. Beneath the apple trees is a faucet with drink safety hose and a bucket for your use.One mile from I-5, you may use pitch your own tent beneath some fir trees at the edge of a small meadow bordering Elk Creek or sleep in your van. Feel the restful flow of water bringing tranquility.  Follow hiking trails along the creek, through groves of trees, or play in the singing creek. A new bathroom in the barn is furnished with a toilet, sink and shower, just a short walk up hill through a copse of trees from the creek side camp.

10/10
What a beautiful campsite! Located on 120 acres of beautiful land, you can drive right up to the campsite and park just a few feet from a lot wonderful little creek. Full shower and bathroom is located just 100 yards or so up the hill in a barn on the property. Remote, quiet, and one of the most picturesque sites I’ve seen through HipCamp. 10/10 will be back, and would recommend to anyone either driving through or wanting to stay for a few days. On top of all that, Susan and her dog Ellie were wonderfully kind and showed us around the property. She was responsive to texts/messages, and gave off a very genuine and kind energy. I couldn’t recommend this site highly enough.

What a charming spot! Very secluded tent site by the river, and easy access to the bathroom in the barn. Directions were easy to follow.

Great weekend!
I really enjoyed camping here! Fed up with the state campground with hundreds of other campers I looked for private but affordable and came across Susan’s listing. The area was so nice and it really felt private with a huge amount of space just for us. Our dog was able to run around off lead and explore the creek and jump in the long grass, she loved it more than us. To top this all off a few minutes walk away was a private flush toilet and hot shower. The noise from the I-5 is not an issue despite being close and you’ll go to sleep listening to crickets and water running. Heard some farm dogs chasing off coyotes on the first night but I actually felt it added to the experience so didn’t mind. We have agreed we will be visiting again in the future and has been our best Hipcamp experience yet.
