25 Acres of pristine wilderness, with numerous animals (deer, wild turkeys, grouse, coyotes) roaming around. Come and become one with nature, either traditional camp or stay in our cottage (in progress) while you take in the beauty of your surroundings. Emergency supplies are on hand (fire extinguisher, matches, Band-Aids) just in case. If you get bored of camping or run out of milk, multiple towns are located nearby with easy access to the necessities. Also during the summer months local fairs and farmers markets are close by to enjoy some local treats, fresh food, and entertainment. This is a new venture for us so we ask you be patient as we get this property up to its full potential. Thanks Crew of Enchanted Acres

Hike in winter snowstorm hot tent!

Alpha

First to review Alpha so here goes! Roads were pretty much unpassable due to winter storms so I hiked into the site with a hot tent and stove to kick off the fun. Snow and cold seeped in and I stayed toasty warm in my secluded confines of Alpha Camp! Host is fantastic and will be adding and making improvements to the camps. Pit toilet on site, another may be added in the future. Excellent stay, excellent host. Excellent snowstorm. Will be back soon!

Quiet, flat and trails

Thanks Matt. Matt is definitely on top of things when it comes to his campground. When I stayed there he was just getting it set up, so it was a work in progress. The sites were mainly walk in/back country, but Matt was also fine with my small car camper and tent parking there. The spot was mostly quiet, (you could hear a few cars) and it was flat. There were trails for walking around. I went in September/ Oct for 2 weeks, and was the only one there. Thanks for loaning me the stove and wood.
