Pleasant suprise!
Great hookups and plenty of space to get in and out. If you have a longer rig it is best to pass it by and turn around and approach the entry heading east. If you are going west on the road coming to it you may drag comming in. Fairly level parking so no need to level. Pull up plug in start a fire and enjoy the star light and the distant cows singing !

1st time hipcamping.
Loved the privacy. Watch the drive as you pull in, a little rough.

Stone Haven Camp
Not private, right on highwsy
The site was convenient to our travel plans, and it was not misrepresented. It is just right on a highway and close to a railroad with trains all night. I’ve spent less for quieter sites.

Stone Haven Camp
First and foremost, the site is easily accessible, well-manicured, and organized. There is a spacious grassy knoll for lounging while watching the sunset and giving your pet a nice area to stretch its legs. A unique feature was the repurposed foundation stones lining the perimeter, assembled into a picnic table, and a great fire pit seating area. It was our own little Stone Haven Stone Henge! We really enjoyed the incredible scenery as well as the privacy, being the only site. The local wildlife was also enjoyable, from watching the majestic birds of prey to conversing with the occasional neighboring bovine! Most importantly (almost), the hookups were in-line, up to date, and clean, and the electric can directly sustain all amperages. Be prepared for the sun! The living side of the RV faces west-south-west and receives direct sunlight during all hours after the clock strikes noon. The host was very kind and accommodating. We had a couple of hiccups with our timeline during which she graciously ensured our stay was enjoyable. Most impressive was her occasional check-in to make sure we were having a great stay and if we needed anything. This whole site experience has been fantastic and goes highly recommended by us! Thank you Stone Haven!

Busy road but pretty view
The stay was nice and the gravel area was level but the traffic constantly driving by was nerve-wracking especially since I was solo camping. The Feild across was very beautiful and there were cows out for most of the visit mooing and roaming around which was fun! There isn't any cell service unless you go to Atwood lake which was a bummer but nice as well. I had forgotten my firewood at home and upon request they brought a couple days worth of wood which was super kind! The last day I was there unfortunately a couple guys came down to mow the trails and small patch of lawn while I was still there which was a bit frustrating especially since I had my two dogs with me and they showed up at 8:30 am. All around it was nice and scenic but the road is very busy and you are in sight of the cars and there's no service but it is nice with the hookups and having the site to yourself
