My siblings and I were looking for a last minute cabin after a plan to tent camp went awry. We had no idea what to expect and were pleasantly surprised! The cabin was cozy and had the bare necessities. It’s winter, so we weren’t able to take advantage of the water crafts, but we woke up to a beautiful snowfall and view of the river.! The hospitality was wonderful and we definitely got the relaxing weekend away that we were going for! We will return for sure.
For potential camper information that I wish I’d had- There is a stove, table, microwave, small coffee maker, chairs and less than functional pull out futon. Also a “camp” bathroom with a camper toilet, sink and shower. There is a porta John right next to the cabin. We brought sleeping pads and bags expecting to maybe sleep on the floor. We could less than comfortably for 4 people in the cabin, but it would be more than comfortable in weather that allowed for tent camping. There were a few pans, salt, pepper and dishes. There was firewood available as well. The bus was not practical to use in the cold, but I can see the pity for use in the warmer months. Cute community location to spend a weekend in nature!
