UNPLUG & GET BACK TO NATURE at our secluded 3-acre PRIVATE RV RETREAT. Be immersed in nature and cocooned from the sights and sounds of city life. No cellular or wifi service will keep you communing with nature. String up your hammock on the banks of Hewitt Creek and bask in the peaceful serenity of nature. Stroll down our creekside path to the Paw-Paw patch and observe the kaleidoscope of wildlife including butterflies, birds, & bees. Come night, relax by our firepit and enjoy our unpolluted night sky. Park your camper at the end of our 120ft long private gravel driveway with 50-amp electric hook-up. Enjoy a large mowed clearing by the creek with firepit and picnic table. In late summer and fall, a field full of 8ft tall annual flowers keep you hidden from the few passing travelers. This is the perfect time to meander our Butterfly Walking Trail through the meadow. Location great for hiking
14 ft campervan
Went off season, a great spot to backpack at the nearby trails and a nice clean and spacious area with hookup. Clearly marked and firewood available. It was a weekend and trails were busy Saturday. Zero cell service until about 2 miles away off the main road. Very little noise pollution and peaceful with lots of birds to see even in November. All friendly neighbors, backpackers, trail riders and locals. Would love to come back in the Spring, host was great very quick to reply

Butterfly Valley was a pollinator's paradise! The site was very private and relaxing. I loved the mowed trails on the property and that it was so close to so many cool things! The neighbors in the area were so friendly. I also loved having the electric hookup! Thank you!!

Great secluded location
26 ft travel trailer · With kids
The wildflower field was beautiful but be aware that it attracts more than just butterflies. We were welcomed by bees, wasps, and the most enormous, prehistoric looking horseflies I have ever seen. Thankfully most of the bugs (except for the bees) cleared out after it rained the first the night. The tall flowers gave great privacy from the road. There were quiet a few groups heading to the Moonville trail the weekend we stayed, as well as several ATV riders, but no one bothered us and we were able to enjoy a quiet night by the fire. If you are camping with curious little ones (we had three kids under 5), please know there is a lot of poison ivy growing near the trees by the creek.

This place is wonderful! Easy hikes on the moonville rail trail that lead to some neat tunnels.
