Relax in the medicinal water of Hot Springs (30 minutes away) and enjoy a meal in another quaint town after a day hiking, rafting, or skiing in beautiful Madison County.
Enjoy everything the Blue Ridge has to offer in this serene setting, while being lulled asleep by the sounds of the flowing waters of the French Broad River.

- The Heath FamilyThe Mountain Side Retreat is located across the street from the river with beautiful river views and river access. It has a cement pad, full hook ups, and is easy to access from the road.
There is river access is perfect for wading, tubing, fishing, etc. The quiet road is great for biking and walking with a town playground a few minutes walk away.
The train runs behind the site 2-3 times a day.
