Rumble Acres Farm is a five acre mix of fields and mature deciduous forest. It has direct access to a state road and is close to town yet has plenty of wildlife, privacy, and a beautiful stream and waterfall to view. There are several lean-to’s with southern exposure and a fire pit. There is access to a large barn for basic shelter with a wood stove, electricity, wi-fi, and running (cold) water. There are no bathroom facilities so we can only host RV’s at this time.Pull your RV in and park it down by the big red barn. There is a 110 outlet available for one RV. You can camp there or pretty much anywhere else on the property. Lots of fields and flat open areas to choose from. The barn will be open to you for basic shelter, along with a wood stove, couch, tv, and a ping-pong table if you just want to hang out in a bigger indoor space. There is bathroom in the barn with a toilet and cold water sink. It’s a work in progress! Feel free to build a campfire. Seasoned cherry, black locust, and cedar firewood is available for $10. Cold water spigot is located behind the barn. Lean-to’s and fire pit are behind the barn. The property is well-light and secure. There is a large convenience store within walking distance that has camping supplies, food, gas, and diesel. There is some road noise being on a state highway but it’s also easy on/easy off, plenty of space to turn around, near interstates, box stores, and close to several breweries! Take a short walk up the creek side trail to view the waterfall and relax…

Great spot to stay!
Land was nice and level for a quick set up. John was a great host, very friendly! We joined him on his back porch where he played guitar and we sang then had stimulating conversation until bedtime. Would definately recommend, close to the highway, easy to get in and out.

I truly loved our stay here, it’s a beautiful property and a diamond spot for a view of nature. It has a nice creek in the back where you can sit listen to the sounds and take in all the earth has to offer. John is an awesome, responsive, inclusive host. I hope in the future he won’t be too booked up because we will be back.

Awesome stay
We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed every minute of it. We did not have an adapter and John had one. There’s a beautiful waterfall in the back maybe a 3-4 minute walk. We will save this locations for whenever we need to go upstate. Definitely recommend it if you are trying to get a peace of mind. Thank you John.

Great place to stay if in the area!
Great location, nice big yard to manouver our 35 foot motorhome, we did have to disconnect our towed vehicle, we enjoyed 30 amp electric, didn't utilize the water hookup. Quiet at night, during the day there's some road traffic and trains. John answered all my questions promptly prior to arrival and greeted us when he arrived at home. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you John , it was nice meeting you!

Great host and great location
John has a great location. We set up next to the barn with a view of the forest bordering his property. The creek and waterfalls are beautiful. John was responsive when there was a question. The location is great too as a jumping off point for Saratoga springs, lake George, Herkimer. His spot is also just a few miles away from the big stores you sometimes need for supplies and things. We’ve already stayed at John’s place twice now and will be back again for a third visit!
