We started to reclaim our land in 2020 from years and years of overgrowth. During this reclaiming, we found the railroad bed of the 1873 Corning and Sodus Bay line. We placed an upcycled bench here just to sit and enjoy the beauty of nature. After many hours of appreciation, we decided to give others the same opportunity. Piece of Heaven is your chance to disconnect from the hectic and sometimes overwhelming day to day life. Learn more about this land: Piece of Heaven is an off grid cabin located in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. Just a short drive to Watkins Glen State Park, Stony Brook Park, the Finger Lakes Trail System, Sugar Hill State forest and their trails, several lakes for fishing, boating, kayaking, a working bison farm, and many wineries . A little longer drive (1 hour) to Treman and Buttermilk Falls State Parks. Relax and unwind to the sound of the stream and birds singing. Sit quietly and watch the wildlife walk through the woods. If you want, you can even visit and feed the chickens and ducks at chore time and collect fresh eggs for breakfast-just let us know. Kayaks available for an additional cost. When in season, fresh fruits and veggies will also be available for picking. Horses are also welcome. Pasture, barn space and water available-just let us know. We keep coming back because it really is a perfect place. The dogs are safe around the cabin off leash, the wood is always stocked, the outhouse is always clean, the bed is always fresh. It is central to hiking, swimming, or pretty much anything else you want to do. Quite honestly, the price is great. We love this place, you probably will too!

This place is so lovely! We stayed here on a whim during a roadtrip back to Michigan. The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful. The shower was also a bonus!

Always great!

It is always a pleasure to stay here. Peaceful, quiet, and close to whatever you need. Take a drive over to Lodi Marine for swimming or a BBQ. Kings never disappoints with their steaks for the grill. Sue is a gracious host and the cabin is clean and comfortable.

Practically perfect.

You can't ask for a more gracious and lovely host. A clean bed, cool water to shower in and a fresh clean towel, private outhouse, and stocked firewood. This is easily one of my favourite places to camp; close to everything yet secluded and quiet. Check out Sand Run Falls for a beautiful hike, bring plenty of water and snacks as its 7 miles.

What a great little cabin in a beautiful spot! Everything is clean and well-maintained. I just couldn't drive my car down to the cabin - it's a steep hill. The solar lights at night are so nice. Sitting on that porch and watching nighttime come was rejuvenating.
