***PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION - NO RUNNING WATER NOV - MARCH*** Our *NEW* cabin is located on the top of a clearing in the mountains outside Wassaic. Enjoy swimming, hiking, chilling, fires and sunsets views without any light pollution or street noise. Designed as a retreat for the modern creative, the cabin is fully off-grid but features Starlink Internet, a compost toilet and heat / AC. We do provide 5 gallons drinking / cleaning water, but during the winter no sinks or showers are operable. Nearby towns (Kent, CT / Wassaic, NY) have awesome art, shopping and plenty of food options as well as easy access to the Appalachian trail and Macedonia state park. 15 minutes from the Wassaic metro north station, the cabin can be reach by taxi. The cabin is accessible by car, but may require a short hike in after heavy rain or snow. This cabin's got everything you need for an amazing few nights off-grid. You're power comes from a generator, a kitchenette for cooking, large deck and solo stove to enjoy the sunset and comfy bed with an amazing view of the night sky. Because Offsite Camp cabins are designed with the modern creative in mind, our workstations are top-notch. We've partnered with Branch Furniture to bring you an ergonomic standing desk and chair. There's a hidden whiteboard for bringing your ideas to life, and Starlink internet will keep you connected, even when you're up in the woods. Our kitchenette will keep your cravings at ease. We offer local coffee and tea complimentary to our guests, along with cooking essentials. You have a pot and pan from Caraway to get cookin' on our two burner gas range and all the cooking utensils you need for basic meals. There is servewear for two from Barebones, and we've got a pour-over kit from our friends at VSSL and Chemex. There's also a mini-fridge to keep things cool. Since we're fully off-grid, you'll find a hi-tech composting toilet. Outside, enjoy a beverage by the fire and maybe make some s'mores on our massive deck. Hit up one of the local ski mountains for some outdoor fun, grab one of the yoga mats and greet the sunrise if you're inclined, or just relax on the Adirondack chairs overlooking the valley and the Berkshires beyond. You can watch both sunrise and sunset, and if you catch a clear night the starts are unreal. Such an amazing getaway!! The house is just as advertised with additional special touches. The land is beautiful and secluded without feeling too far from amenities. 8 min drive to restaurants and shops in Kent. I can’t wait to come back. Brian was a responsive and helpful host - Thank you Brian!

Offsite Camp | Off-Grid Cabin

Such a beautiful spot with its views of the valley. There's little walking trails around the tiny house that are sweet for a morning stroll, Macedonia State Park and the AT are close by for more serious walks. It's really so nice to have a solid roof and not need to worry about planning around rain/weather. Nicholas was a gracious and responsive host. Would definitely return.

Itsa keeper!

Awesome spot. Tiny house was beyond our expectations, there are trails, views and off leash doggins! Would have liked to use the swimming hole but the drought brought the levels down. We will use it next time, and there WILL be a next time. The road to get there was not an "off roading" experience, gravel dirt and grass but no wash-outs holes or branches scratching our truck.

Perfectly lovely spot, even in 90 degree heat. Great campfire pit, comfy bed, and beautiful hiking trails. Camp keepers were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay!

Panoramic views

An amazing little gem of a spot! The hosts are so warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed the fireflies dancing around our campfire on our first night. The mattress pad was so comfortable and the best part of the Tiny was being able to take in the panoramic windows of the cabin. I went to bed with a bright full moon in my view and woke up to gorgeous green foliage. We went fly fishing about 30 min nearby during the day but could have hung out at the site and hiked the lush grounds. We wish we had more time to stay longer at this perfect little camping nook.
