The land is a 200 acre former dairy farm. Currently rotated crops of soy beans, corn and hay are being farmed. The property boarders the Genesee River. Christie creek runs through the property and empties into the Genesee. The site is located at a bend in the creek just past a small pond, adjacent to the Genesee Valley Greenway Trail. Nearby activities include horse back riding, biking, hiking and boating.
Rachel was extremely accommodating when my friends and I were there. She helped drive my friends and I over to the site as she was worried that our vehicle might not have been able to manage it and helped transport all of our gear. When we realized we forgot a tent, she came over ans provided us a large one! Really saved us there. The portable restroom was really clean and larger than most usual ones people would see. Their supplies are wellstocked and the ground is well maintained. The soft ground was perfect to set up tents on and the land has a perfect clearing for a night sky to see stars as there is very little light sources around.
I will like to come back to stay again.
Very warm, friendly, helpful hosts. Provided plenty of high quality equipment at the campsite. Also a bunch of wood for our fire! They helped us bring our stuff to the campsite when we arrived. Great experience, amazing location, beautiful property!!!!
Rachel was a fantastic host. She was very friendly and explained the site well immediately upon my arrival. The site is well-maintained and has many small touches that made it a very comfortable stay. It is conveniently located just off of the trail and is the perfect stop southbound or northbound. If you’re through hiking or cycling along the Greenway and looking for a spot to stay, I would highly recommend it. My stay was fantastic and one I would happily do again.
