Pets can be off-leash at this Hipcamp.
Named during the pandemic, "Camp COVID Site 19" was born out of our desire to camp, as we weren't able to go camping anywhere! This camp is the back half of our property, located in the village of Tannersville. Camp is divided from our personal space by a fence. The camp is also completely fenced in once you close the driveway gates, allowing your pets to safely be off leash if you wish! A long stone driveway leads to camp, with a flat spot to park your skoolie, motorhome, or vehicle. There is a creek running along the entire back side of our property, outside of the fenced in area, which you can access by walking a few feet though the gates under the Camp COVID sign. We also have a bon fire pit in the center of camp, and fires are allowed as long as there is no burn ban in effect. Firewood is on site. We have 2 water hook ups and one 15 amp electric hook up on site, we just ask that you do not run an A/C unit as it will trip our main breaker. There is a dump station at North South Lake State Park and Campground only minutes away in Haines Falls. Instructions and rules are posted in the bath house which has an on demand hot water shower and a composting toilet. There is a garbage can for your convienece which is located in the shed which must be kept closed to avoid black bears visiting! Come and stay and say hi!Park your vehicle on our flat gravel driveway. We can fit up to 40 foot vehicles, 5th wheels, RVs, Vans, motorhomes, Skoolies, trucks, etc. Or pitch a tent in the grass. We have a bonfire pit in the center of the yard and two campers on site that may be available to rent in the future. The property is fenced in for your (and your pets) safety. The driveway gates to the property will be open upon arrival. If you wish for us to close them after arrival, just ask! Camp COVID is the back half of our personal property, and our house is on the front half with its own fenced in area as well. We have three dogs in our half of the yard. Please let us know if they are ever bothersome along the fence line. We usually limit their outdoor time when guests are here. We named our spot Camp COVID site 19, because during COVID, we couldn’t go camping, so we made a little campground of our own. Enjoy the ambient solar lighting in the yard, and on the bath house. Electric and water are available (we ask that you do not power on an A/C unit as it will trip our breaker). There is an outdoor bath house with a composting toilet and shower. Please read the instructions hanging in the bath house. This area has black bears! Do not leave food or garbage out at night or unattended at any time. Coolers and all food/drink must be secured in a vehicle or our shed if you plan a day trip off of the property. Please put bagged garbage in the garbage can provided inside of the shed and latch the door closed upon departure. Leave no more than one can of bagged garbage please. Please do not go into the white tented area or the other on site RVs, which will be vacant during your stay. They are private. Thank you!

Camp COVID Site 19
Angie's Camp COVID Site 19 is an amazing spot in the Catskills. It is tucked in the back of their property and affords ample privacy while still being walking distance to town. We were greeted a warm fire already roaring and Angie and Peter were ready to assist with any of our needs for the weekend should we need them. 10/10 would recommend.

Camp COVID Site 19
Camp Covid Site 19 was amazing! Angie and her husband are great hosts with an amazing vibe. The site itself is super private and has everything you might want or need. My boyfriend and I ended our two week road trip here so having a shower was a game changer. It’s also in such a great location, not too far from restaurants or stores but also not on a main road. It’s also right down the road from kaaterskill falls which is a must see. We will definitely be returning!

Camp COVID Site 19
We loved camping at Angie's property. She had a campfire ready for us when we arrived on our site. The property is very secured, fenced and has great amenities including a hot shower after a long day of travel. Angie was very responsive to all my questions and very kind. Will recommend this campsite to anyone travelling to the catskill area.
