Enjoy sitting around the fire pit at nighttime roasting marshmallows.
Come nighttime during September - February it is the mating season for koalas, the valley being a known corridor for koloas you quite often hear them searching for their partner.
being such an accessible site and not off the beaten track, some days you may notice more vehicles driving past.
Just a short drive to the local country pub, even a few local wineries.
Take the old convict road all the way down to the country pub at st Albans, which is very peaceful for adults but theres also a creek for the kids to play in and newly upgraded playground.
Off the convict road there are a few 4wd tracks.

For your convenience, you can purchase a crate of firewood for $20 from me. Each crate is loaded with firewood and is approx. 25kg, Depending on the size of the fire, one crate is usually enough for a night. Discounts for 3 or more crates of firewood purchased at once. Wood can be prepaid via bank transfer or cash on arrival. Due to a limited phone signal, please advise prior to arrival if you wish to purchase firewood.
We recommend you don't let pets walk off into the bush out of sight, and please be respectful and pick up their waste.
The local area boasts a lot of history and lots to see and do. Head along Geroge Downs Drive, a short drive past the fire station on the left. You'll find handmade walls that were constructed back in the day by convicts.
