Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Take in the serenity from your own little piece of paradise on the banks of the pristine Clarence river.  Just 6.5 km from the jacaranda city of Grafton and 40 minutes drive from Yamba, we offer two level grassy camp sites surrounded by a beautiful poplar shade tree plantation. Private boat ramp directly in front of camp with easy access. 4x4 is recommended for boat launching. You can fish right from camp!  Drinking water is connected as well as hot shower and toilet, plus you have your own BBQ and picnic table. Relax while the kids swim, fish or paddle the river.  The beaches of Yamba are only 40 minutes away and the beautiful mountains of the great dividing range can be seen from your camp site. Campfires permitted, but you must BYO firewood, or, I can provide you with firewood. Please let me know. Access is possible for all vehicles. Plenty of room for caravans and rigs to turn around.

Beautiful spot by the river. Good shower and clean toilet on site. Would be good for a big group with multiple vehicles to share the few sites.

Outdated photos!! Disappointing
We came to this camp site as it had advertised a hot shower, pictures showed nice clean grounds with picnic table, big gum tree with rope swings for the kids with a sandy little beach and at a total Price of $355 for three nights which we got charged extra for each kid under 7!!! we thought it must be an exceptional camp ground as it was more expensive then a national park camp ground. There is only a cold shower, the picnic table is not stable and half falling apart, so the 4 days not one person even sat there, the grounds were poorly maintained with thistles and weeds everywhere. terrible for our kids who couldn’t run around or play on the grounds. And the big gum tree was nothing but a rotting tree fallen over in the river next to a muddy bank. pictures on the advert are over 4 years old. The place was a disappointment and not worth half the money we paid. Not to mention you constantly hear trucks all night long.

No kitchen, No Hot shower.. It was one of reasons I chose this site. There's no facility at all. (only a toilet with a frog living in there.) Apart from the facility, it was nice and peaceful. The information on ads should be updated.

Stayed there a few weekends ago the gps played up a fraction - we are from up north so make sure to catch the ferry to avoid gps confusion (Bluff Point ferry) other then that super easy to find. Great spot to camp and will be back again in the warmer weather to chase some mud crabs etc !

Peaceful river views
We stayed in our fully self-contained hybrid van for 2 nights. The land was relatively flat and clean with excellent views of the Clarence River. There are fresh water taps you can connect into and there is a clean, flushing toilet and a cold shower, if you need it. There are a lot of trees (not sure what kind) around the camping area that attract bees during the day (be careful if you have allergies) and bats/flying foxes and possums at night. These trees dropped super sticky flowers and leaves that stick to EVERYTHING. The bats and possums also snapped branches off while having their night-time feasts and these drop down onto the car/van all night long. Unfortunately this was a negative for us as our car and van are covered in stickiness and bat poo. Grafton is a 10 minute drive away, so we were able to top up supplies and empty our van toilet at the Grafton Greyhound Racing campground. There are negative reviews about Kevin’s lack of communication with potential campers. We messaged Kevin in the morning to which we got a reply straight away. When we finally got organised and made the booking later in the morning, it took a few hours for Kevin to respond but he did. So be prepared to wait for a reply about your booking. The property is 651 Great Marlow Rd but when you program it into the GPS, it tries to take you down a dirt road before the property. Our suggestion is to just program “Great Marlow Rd” into your GPS then drive along the bitumen until you get to 651.
