An exclusive, natural camping experience situated on the beautiful Gloucester River under the picturesque Bucketts Mountains. We are just 5 minutes from Gloucester CBD. The Bucketts are within the country belonging to the Biripi and Worimi peoples, with Gloucester being known as Mookibakh. In the native language, the Bucketts mountains (the Buccan Buccan) means the “father of stones looking down on sacred land.” As an active beef farm we may have cattle in the paddock you camp in but the site will be secured by temporary electric fencing to ensure your safety. Hence, we ONLY allow dogs to stay whilst on a lead or tethered run at all times. Dogs sighted off a leash will result in you leaving immediately with no refund. Most of the year the river is lovely and clear and ideal for swimming, fishing, photography or just enjoying. Wedgetail Eagles, Black Cockatoos, Black Shouldered Kites, Kookaburras and Butcher Birds life in the area. As do kangaroos, possums and echidnas. Our night skies are very clear, no pollution here! All of our campsites are perfect for having a campfire (fire season dependent). Our sites are ideal for self-contained vans, camper trailers, medium motor homes, tents or swags, it’s up to you. You must have your own toilet facilities and take away all waste. This is very important and an absolutely essential requirement for all visitors. As is the case with general rubbish. You should bring sufficient water with you as we do not provide drinking or potable water. You will have very good mobile and internet coverage across the property. When you make a reservation at the property we will always endeavour to put you in your preferred location as best we can. However if we are impacted by adverse weather or need to run cattle on certain parts of the farm then we may need to make a change to the actual site you are in and trust you understand. Peace and quiet camping

Max and Karen were so welcoming and accommodating, their property was beautiful and the camp site was nice and secluded. We loved getting a visit from the curious cows as the sun rose. We will definitely be back ☺️

Beautiful property, excellent views and very friendly, welcoming hosts. Clean and well kept sites, the river was beautiful to swim in and close to Gloucester. Will definitely be back

MaMiKa Beef Site 1

MaMika was a great spot to camp with plenty of serenity. A beautiful part of our country. Camp sites were all very nice and spaced out, with views of the adjacent mountains, paddocks and cattle with ours overlooking the Gloucester River. Was lovely to meet Max who took us to our site. Communication with Karen was awesome. Would recommend.

MaMiKa Beef Site 2

We had a fantastic stay at Mamika. Max and Karen were wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to welcome us and help us to enjoy our stay. We stayed on site 2 which was huge with a great view of the farm and mountains. We got our 22 foot caravan in with no problems at all. The river was great for a great for a fish and a swim. There were people at the other sites but with so much space between sites, you wouldn't even know they were there. We've already booked our next stay :)

Karen and Max are exceptional hosts, making our stay truly memorable. The campsite was outstanding, with level ground and neatly trimmed grass that was meticulously maintained. Every detail reflected their care and dedication, creating an ideal and serene getaway. A flawless experience from start to finish!
