Glenroy offers five spacious country cottages, individually styled, all self-contained with plenty of room for privacy. Camping sites are also available all year round. Enjoy a night, weekend or extended stay in a peaceful, relaxing, natural environment. There are beautiful river walks with an abundance of magnificent bird life as well as platypus, echidna, wallabies and kangaroos to view. Relax in comfort beside a log fire overlooking the tranquil Coxs River. Put your feet up after a swim or river adventure. Glenroy Cottages are located 15 minutes from Mount Victoria, Lithgow and Hampton, and about a half hour from Jenolan Caves, Katoomba and the zig Zag Railway. Two hours from Sydney, 5 minutes from Historic Hartley Village.Pick your own spot to set up in a grassy area by the river. Basic toilets and showers available. It is dog friendly however they must remain on a leash the entire time and not bark once. It is accessible to RVs, camper trailers, caravans and tents.

Riverside delight

Such a great spot to take the kids for some nature time. Close to Sydney, river frontage is beautiful and drive in a bonus.

Very nice spot

Very noisy on the Friday with trucks and no greeting from the host but Saturday night was much better. The first words from the host unfortunately were what’s your name not hi I’m the owner of this property how’s your stay etc and turn your music down which I had no problems doing once we established who it was It’s a very beautiful place and would recommend it for anyone on the Saturday night as the trucks slow Down and I do wish the property owner all the best in the future

Beautiful spot. Kept very clean, amenities are good and the access is easy. Not too far from Sydney so great for 1-2 nights away at a quiet river spot.

Not as advertised.

The site itself is beautiful. However the host lies about many things. There are no showers. If you like us need a shower do not go here. We had been hiking all day and we’re not impressed to arrive and see that her opinion was real campers don’t need showers (photos attached). We met many other unhappy campers during our stay, particularly families with kids who needed the amenities they had paid for. You are packed in like sardines, camping on top of each other, definitely not 10 dispersed sites as advertised. Also the fire pits were tiny and actually created a hazard, she made them so small you had to watch the logs didn’t roll off while they were burning as they were so filled with ash and not maintained at all. Also very loud site, right next to a bridge that gets used by trucks all day. You are woken up by trucks engine braking in the early hours of the morning. I definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone. It’s a shame the site is not managed properly as the river is quite beautiful. If these are not a concern to you I will also note that she does have toilets. That one isn’t a lie.
