Beautiful 240acre cattle property for campers to enjoy the beauty of the land and its flora and fauna in a pieceful environment. Campers have enjoyed the easy accessibility, stunning sunset views and the peace and quiet of feeling like they are a million miles away from civilization. All sites in the Campground area are fenced and sited to give maximum privacy and safety from any fire threat, with plenty of room to place tents/vans/motorhomes for best viewing position. Campground Sites x 8 Beautiful private sites that feel like you are away from the rest of the world. Watch kangaroos, wallaroos and wedge tail eagles. Drive through comfort for large Caravans/RV. Toilets for your comfort nearby and potable water available for refill of tanks. Campfires are allowed unless there is a fireban. We love camping here. The spot had plenty of shade and was so quiet. We watched plenty of bird life and kangaroos hopping by in the evening.

The fencing and site level was good but for $60 a night we feel it was over priced. We got the impression that there was a swimming hole at the property when booking (swimming icon on page), but all we could find was a cattle dam with excrement from the cows and many bugs living on the surface of the water. Also, roadside signage is a quarry and no reference to the campground. When towing you don't want to drive onto private property by mistake. If we had paid $30 a night and it was cooler weather we would have a more positive opinion of the campground.

A great escape

Site 5 Top of the Mountain

We really liked this location - the sunset was beautiful! We loved listening to the bush chorus as we went to sleep and then in the morning as we woke up. Toilets were clean. Place was easy to find with the directions. Not far from Canberra and perfect for a quick escape. We will definitely come again.
