At the foot of the Watagan mountains, close to the Watagan 4WD tracks, picnic areas, and bike tracks. Also close to Lake Macquarie where you will find fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing etc. About a 20 - 40 min drive to beautiful beaches. Ideal for those wanting to be surrounded by birds, nature and a couple of friendly doggos. Also great for people wanting to try out their new camper, van or tent for the 1st time as we are an easy 1 hour drive north of Sydney on the M1 and close enough to shops for those forgotten items. Also we have unfenced dams, if you are camping with young children please consider carefully and let me know before booking. We have very basic bathroom facilities of 1 flushing toilet in the shed and an outdoor warm shower.

Bunyip's Brooke's Nook -Primitive

Campsite was awesome, very spacious with a good amount of privacy. Lisa was an amazing host and was kind enough to move us to an alternative camp site due to an active wasp nest. Campsite also came with 2 super friendly dogs that kept us company. Will 100% book again.

Bunyip's Under the Pine - Primitive

Camping at Bunyip was great! It was a nice open field with many places for people to stay, with campfires at every spot. Toilet and shower was very very primitive Doggies had a ball playing in the creek and running around in the field. Thank you Lisa for a great stay!

Bunyip's Wattle Grove - primitive

Easy place to camp, the area allocated had plenty of space for me to set up camp the way I wanted. Also private, there were other campers but I could barely see them. As a new camper I do like to know that there are other people around but I also feel independent as well. Single toilet for whole camp is okay, there was no queue but very primitive, wasn't a concern for me.

Bunyip's Brooke's Nook -Primitive

Lisa gave us a friendly welcome even though we arrived in darkness around 9.30pm. Well spaced sites for privacy. Our spot was flat and protected. Very handy for motorway.

Bunyip's Top Paddock.

Amazing property.

I loved this property. Lisa was very friendly, and was very quick with meeting me at the gate and giving me all the info. 10/10 but 15/10 with the friendly doggos!
