The Lemon Drop Cottage is on my family compound with a house, gardens and lovely cottage (The Lemon Drop) . We've lived here 23 years and enjoy all four seasons. Clean air, great places to do and see are close by. Your cottage has its own driveway and the backyard is reserved for you to sit, have a fire and BBQ. Firepit with approval, due to local conditions. The Lemon Drop Cottage is located next door to my home. NO interaction with others is needed to enter etc. It's a private spot. A former hunting cabin, now renovated, with its own PRIVATE driveway.. The cottage is 700 sq feet, open concept; small fully equipped kitchen, shower (the shower is full size and located in the kitchen area.....the bathroom has a toilet and sink) , comfy queen bed, and linens. The cottage is well heated and insulated. We have great wifi and ROKU TV. We are 4.5 miles to Peterborough center, 1 mile to Harvester Market, a 1/4 mile to Oak Park (venue for music etc and running track). Harlow's Pub, antiquing, and outdoor spots to people watch or sit near the river with a coffee are pleasant. Ski Crotched Mountain or snowshoe on our 6 acre field (snowshoes provided). Children welcome and stay is no charge for them with advance notice. The Lemon Drop Cottage is located next door to my home. Cute cottage

Great little place for a quick getaway. Quiet and private. Convenient to restaurants, shopping, and outdoor. Only thing that would make the cottage better would be a nice comfy sofa facing that great picture window facing the tree line.

I was arriving a little late, and Kathy was very accommodating. This is an excellent value - a little cabin next to the owners’ house with bathroom, shower, a little fridge, and more.

No Regrets!

Lemon Drop was such a cozy stay! Kathy has beautiful land and was extremely kind and accommodating. She was very responsive and we are looking forward to going back in the future 💙

Great time!

Great hosts! Beautiful cottage with eclectic decor, mindfully filled with the essentials. Close to downtown, hiking. Thoughtful additions like binoculars and snow shoes. Great for a winter visit!

The cottage met all of our needs & was a peaceful basecamp for a few days of NH adventures. We enjoyed access to the grill, and sitting out in the yard while being serenading by crickets. Access to Wi-Fi was helpful, and nice to be able to watch a show on the TV after a hard day of hiking. The fire pit wasn’t available when we were there but overall a very comfortable stay! Thanks, Kathy!

The pictures of the cottage are a bit misleading from a privacy perspective. You’re right next to the host home, with a shared back yard space. The cottage itself was just what we needed, the WiFi worked perfectly and there’s a store 4 minutes up the road.
