All to yourself

A rustic, permalog style cabin that is suited to accommodate up to nine. This is a cabin to help disconnect from the hustle and bustle of our chaotic lives. There is limited cell signal, no internet and no local or cable channels. The cabin is pet friendly, as I believe our pets are an extension of our families and should get to vacation with everyone rather than boarded (dogs only are allowed). Primary source of heat is a propane wall furnace. There is an electric fireplace in the living room. In the summer there is a window AC unit at the cabin and a fan for the loft (it does get hot up there).
The cabin is very close (1/4 mile) to the AuSable River where you can easily launch boats, canoes and more. The ORV trail head is just a 1/4 mile down the road. This is also the perfect cabin for hunting, fishing, hiking and trail riding. Be sure to keep an eye out for an eagle or two. Also had deer tracks in the yard.A rustic, permalog style cabin that is suited to accommodate up to nine. This is a cabin to help disconnect from the hustle and bustle of our chaotic lives. Dozen eggsgood
$4.00
Farm fresh eggs from my little chicken nuggets. My chickens are cared for with love each day. Many of them have names based on their personalities. I collect the eggs daily and wash them for you.
Firewood bundlegood
$50.00
Start your trip off right with a bundle of firewood waiting for you at your camp for your first campfire.
We had a wonderful stay at Meo Mio! The cabin is adorable, clean, cozy and the amenities were such a thoughtful touch. We had a great time hiking different trails, exploring the neat attractions nearby and visiting many Amish stores in the area. The fireplace outside was big and kept us warm while we stargazed and played games in the snow.
Highly recommended. Traci, the host is great!
When you arrive there will be lots of information available at the cabin for different trails, attractions, the river, and information about surrounding areas. You'll have a great stay!

Group trip
Stayed here for our ten year anniversary and it was great, just outside Mio, Mackinaw City and Tawas are not to far away. Will probably come stay in the winter and bring the kids to go sledding.

Rustic cabin as described. Location is perfect for recreational activities. Recommend a trip down the ausable and local hiking trails. Ticks abound in the woods so be prepared.
