Immerse yourself in pure Northern Michigan wilderness at this secluded 5-acre woodland camp. Your private forest sanctuary awaits, where towering maples, ancient oaks, and fragrant pines create natural camping nooks perfect for peaceful getaways. Watch for the local residents - whitetail deer often pass through at dawn and dusk, while wild turkeys strut between the trees and songbirds provide nature's soundtrack.
What makes this spot unique:

* Wildlife viewing and bird watchingTucked into a natural clearing surrounded by century-old sugar maples, this elevated site offers the perfect blend of shelter and openness. A natural hollow in the terrain creates a flat 20x20 foot area ideal for 1-2 tents, while fallen logs provide natural seating around your fire ring. The maple canopy creates dappled sunlight during the day and a perfect frame for stargazing at night. In autumn, you'll camp among a cathedral of gold and red leaves. Look for the old maple with the distinctive split trunk – it's a favorite perch for local pileated woodpeckers and makes an excellent landmark for finding your way back to camp. This site is a 5-minute walk from the parking area, offering true forest immersion while remaining easily accessible.
