We had a lovely stay! We camped behind the barn, which was very peaceful and felt very private. We are thrilled to learn that there was a restaurant, Silly Goose Bar N Tavern, in front of the barn! There was enough space to ensure a quiet stay, but it was a very short walk home after dinner! And the quartet of geese were hilarious!

We couldn’t have asked for nicer hosts! Although we only stayed for one night, we felt very welcome. The camping area is tucked beside a beautiful old barn and other sections of the farm complex visually separate it from the rest of the farm. It was very private, but there were no other campers during our stay. However, even if all three spots we full, there is more than enough space to spread out. The communal area with picnic tables and fire pit was very well maintained and the porta-potty was clean. The view of the mountains from this campsite is the cherry on top. We wish we could have stayed longer and would highly recommend this place to others!

This was a great place to camp while we enjoyed outdoor activities in western Maine. The spot is private and has great views but is close to the town of Kingsfield and within walking distance of restaurants. The owners opened a restaurant with outstanding pizza and beer on premises while we were staying there! The host was very responsive and the hospitality was awesome!
