Marble Creek Acres is a working homestead in the Northern Maine woods. The homestead is situated on 6 acres of land; part woods, part farm land
We operate a small onsite winery, tasting room, onsite Airbnb, host RV campers through Harvest Host, and operate a small farm store.
We have a small herd of Kiko goats, and about 3 dozen chickens running around at any given time. We also have a small greenhouse, and 24 raised garden beds, with a number of perennials growing, including, horseradish, rhubarb, asparagus, blueberries, and grapes. We have approximately 90 dwarf apple trees and of course grow various veggies in the summer months. Let's not forget the active working honey bees on site as well. We have Italians and Saskatraz honey bees hard at work pollinating locally, and producing honey for the homestead.
If you are looking for a safe, quiet spot to rejuvenate, take in a sunrise, sunset, or gaze at the stars, yet still have a few amenities while camping, then Marble Creek Acres is the perfect spot to spend a night, a few days or even a week.
We welcome questions about our homesteading practices, and invite you to check out all we have to offer as part of your stay. Tours available as well for a nominal fee.
We have a small self-serve Farm Store on the premises with a variety of locally sold items, ranging from fresh eggs, to goat breakfast sausage, jams and marmalades, honey, maple syrup, and in season fresh veggies.
There is also a Handy Mart, 2 miles away, that stocks fresh cut meat; chicken, beef, and pork, additional veggies, and various other dry goods, like crackers, and cookies. It also features a small take out menu and full service gas station, including propane bottle exchange (no fill).
Marble Creek Acres is handy to the Mt. Jefferson Backcountry Riders ATV Club Trails. This trail system allows you to explore locally, or travel North to Houlton and beyond, East to Topsfield and Calais, and South to Machias and even Ellsworth. The exploring is endless. Map below for reference.

There are also a number of lakes, streams, and rivers in the region if you are looking to do any water sports, or fishing.
Don't let the amenities fool you! Easy access, yet quiet, and safe. If you blink, while driving through the center of town, you might miss it. Perfect for a nice relaxing getaway.
