Our visit to Burke Outpost was a pleasant sojourn by the stream. During our short stay at Burke Outpost, My husband and I set up our tent by the edge of the stream. The camping plot was rustically equipped with a fire ring, and access to potable water.
There are multiple options for pitching a hammock and a tent on this property. Sites by the river offer easy, drive-up convenience. Higher up the mountain, seclusion is offered if you don’t mind a short hike.
Burke Outpost has a mine-shaft that is currently being renovated. If the prospect of finding gold or other minerals during your stay excites you, this Hipcamp may be of great interest. There are also good opportunities for seeing wildlife here.
As a quiet, secluded Hipcamp with abundant access to nearby natural recreation, this property is great. Thank you for sharing your Hipcamp with us. It was a pleasure!
