Sleep out under the stars. This camp area has multiple camp sites to eithersleep in your vehicle or put up your tent. There is a porta potty that is cleaned weekly, a sink with county water for drinking and refilling water for your vacation. Outside cold water shower. As well as a fire pit area. This is a basic place to have as Basecamp whilen Maui. Feel free to ask, and I will assist in any way I can to make your stay special. This is not a typical professional commercial camping area. This is my empty lot that I am slowly attempting to turning into a garden/Farm. Currently i have ducks and chickens and starting planter beds. I also do work trade if you are looking to stay longer. Thank you!🤙🏽 The GPS map provided isn't updates from the app. Contact me and I can give better directions.Open off grid spot in the middle of town. Sleep out under the stars. Camp Pi'ihana
Secret hideaway off grid
Just know this is an eco-farm under development. The campsites should be considered primitive, although toilet is nearby, shower and hangout space are happening. Signage for the site is non-existent, if arriving after dark, contact the host first. Great convenient central Maui location. Lots of local family businesses nearby, as well as Walmart, Starbucks, etc. Host Dwayne is a great guy. Let's support his dream, and enjoy a rich earthy experience.

D is a friendly and helpful guy, embodying the Hawai'i vibe. His space is in the middle of town, so if you're looking for a quiet, remote spot to camp, you're at the wrong spot. That being said, if you need a low-key, affordable, and consistent place to throw up a tent or park your camper, this is the place.

Camp Pi'ihana
Junkyard haunted house site
More of a junkyard haunted house than anything that should be on Hipcamp. D didn’t even know we were coming because he had only checked Airbnb (which he somehow lists this property on as well). We had booked two nights but would never return here and didn’t. We cancelled our second reservation citing the lack of feeling safe or comfortable and he chose not to refund us. Ultimately, I’d rather stay anywhere but here and I’m not exaggerating. Hipcamp should be ashamed places like this are even on their platform.

Camp Pi'ihana
it's clear how much effort has been put into keeping it well-maintained, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience was far from peaceful. During the evening and throughout the night, there was a lot of disruptive noise, making it impossible to sleep. We experienced shouting and aggressive behavior between some neighbors, cars revving their engines with tires screeching, and a generator running late into the night. Despite having booked for three nights, we decided to leave after the first due to the disturbance. We reached out to inquire about a possible refund, understanding that it may not be covered under the policy, but we have not even received any response yet.

Good, but with loudly generator!
The camp OK, classic hippie style, shower was functional. But all night the oil generator is crying (it is very near) Really loudly! And the roosters in the morning, but it is normal in rural area.
