Embrace the tranquility of nature as you park next to your pitch, a mere stone's throw away from the lush woodland. Unleash your inner chef at our outdoor kitchen, conveniently equipped with all the essentials, while a nearby water tap ensures easy access to refreshment. As the sun begins to set, gather around our fire pits complete with grills and kettles, perfect for creating delicious meals and warming beverages under the starlit sky. Explore the sprawling wilderness and unwind in one of our two camp areas, thoughtfully adorned with comfortable seating and billowing parachutes, offering cozy retreats for relaxation and reflection. The Woodland School

Amazing summer break

We loved camping at the woodland school! It was a beautiful spacious pitch, well kept and with excellent separation from other campers. Our children spent the majority of their time playing in the hammock and rope swing and the camp fire seating area was perfect for sitting and playing card games at night. Chloe was amazing and dropped us off bags of logs on request. We didn’t want to leave and will absolutely be back!

Second stay just as good as the 1st

We absolutely love camping at the Woodland school. It is just a really, really special place and one that we will keep coming back to. I am torn between wanting to tell everyone about it and wanting to keep it a secret so that it doesn’t become over subscribed!

Great pitch, it felt like we had a woodland to ourselves. The outdoor kitchen covered by the parachute was a real highlight.

Beautiful camping in the woods

The Woodland School is an incredibly special camping opportunity within a larger site. Within the Southover Woods the Woodland School has its own designated area complete with two pitches, and two parachute covered fire pits (with plenty of seating and a large table in one of them). There is a hammock and a swing which my children absolutely adored and spent much of the weekend seeing just how high they could swing (much higher than me). With our own loos and shower we felt completely content to just be at the site and enjoy our surroundings. It felt like an effort to tear ourselves away to go to Weymouth. Chloe is an excellent host, warm and knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. We look forward to coming back very soon.
